Q&A

When would you wear a windproof sock?
On cooler days, like in the spring and autumn, windproof socks will stop the chilling air that gets into your shoes from reaching your feet. This protection from windchill, coupled with the insulating inner fleece fabric, offers enhanced comfort for your transition season rides.

How are cycling socks different to everyday socks?
To fit inside your cycling shoes, our windproof socks are made as thin as possible, while still providing insulation.

How thick are these socks? Will I still fit in my cycling shoes? And can I wear them on my skin?
Yes, you can wear them directly on your skin, as they feature a soft, brushed fabric on the inside. They are slightly thicker than summer socks, but should fit in your cycling shoes without issues.

Are these socks also waterproof?
No, they are windproof, but not waterproof.

Are these socks also suitable for cycling in winter?
As their name suggests, we have designed these socks for spring and autumn, when you want to ride without shoe covers on windy, but dry days. We do not recommend wearing them with windproof shoe covers.

The Windproof Socks with thin, waterproof shoe covers are an excellent combination for winter cycling.

Wear Tip

When your ride comes to an end, hang your socks to dry inside-out, don’t just throw them in the washing machine after every ride. If they dry quickly they will be fresh and ready for your next ride, and last longer. If they don’t smell, they probably don't need to be washed.

Perfect Fit, Great Cold Beaters

An unexpected Christmas present from my wife. These socks fit really well and are far more comfortable than the usual thicker winter cycling socks and booties. The material is soft yet very durable. The socks are completely windproof and have kept my feet warm throughout the coldest winter weather, when coupled with overshoes. They have also proved to be extremely waterproof. I've yet to have wet feet, even after cycling through flooding. A great product that is worth every penny. I'll be asking for another pair when these finally wear out - though to date they've taken the machine washings without signs of wear.If people get cold feet when wearing these I'd suspect that the problem is with the layering (e.g. no overshoes) or the other clothing that is worn (e.g. lack of effective thermal/windproof tops, poor gloves).

Comfortable. Even when outside soaked (mtb in rain and mud) the inside remained pretty dry and warm. A lot better than just wool or cotton. Shoo around for beat price. As i saw next day quite a lot cheaper
