GripGrab is a company in constant development. That is true for our products, our teams and the way we do business.
We believe in the importance of evolution and are always looking for new areas where we can improve. One such area is sustainability. Over the years, we have increased and intensified our work, but there is still much to be done – and there always will be, because we can always be better than yesterday.
WHAT WE HAVE DONE
Our company was not built on a green foundation. We founded it because we love cycling and great gear, and wanted to develop solutions that enable riders to explore their cycling potential.
When we began working with sustainability and responsibility, we started with the basics. We re-thought our procedures, set higher demands in our value chain, conducted training and raised awareness internally.
WHAT WE'RE DOING
Becoming a more responsible company is not done by ticking boxes on a to-do list, and it is not done with one big shiny project. It is actually a lot of maintenance and due diligence work – work we welcome, because it helps us improve our business day-by-day.
With a solid foundation, we are now focusing on increasing transparency within our value chain and collecting the data and information we need for our future development.
WHAT WE WILL DO
In the future we will improve our materials even further, ensure traceability and documentation, and look for new solutions supporting the movement for increased circularity.
We will set realistic, yet ambitious goals that can help us lower our impact, based on what we have learned in our carbon accounting report.
In addition, we would like to join initiatives that help facilitate more responsibility, accountability and knowledge sharing in our industry’s supply chains.
