When the temperature drops, reach for the GripGrab PACR Windproof Winter Jacket. This softshell winter jacket will keep you comfortable during your cold bike rides.

The front facing torso, lower back and sleeves of the jacket use a three-layer softshell fabric with an integrated 100% waterproof, windproof and breathable membrane. This is your shield against cold weather and spray. The protective three-layer fabric has a high-stretch profile to allow for a close and comfortable fit, while the raglan sleeves of the jacket allow freedom of movement and the raw cut sleeve cuffs give an effective seal around your wrists.

On areas not using the fully waterproof membrane fabric, such as the underside of the sleeves and upper back, a soft brushed fleece fabric is used to provide added breathability and further body-mapping stretch. This fleece fabric, as with the softshell fabric, is treated with a PFC-free Durable Water Repellent (DWR) treatment – so it effectively shrugs of rain showers and spray.

A YKK® Vislon two-way zip, with extra-long zip pulls, is used on the jacket to allow you to regulate airflow through your layers with ease and avoid over-heating when you are working hard. Or, when conditions deteriorate, you can zip the jacket right up to the high cut collar and seal out the elements. A silicone gripper on the rear hem ensures the jacket stays firmly in place, no matter how hard you are working.

On the rear of the jacket there are three large open top pockets for all those long ride essentials, plus a single zipped pocket for small valuables. Reflective detailing on the rear helps to enhance your road presence in low light conditions.

The GripGrab PACR winter cycling jacket is windproof and features a waterproof softshell fabric on the front, shoulders, tops of the sleeves and lower back (this includes the jersey pockets), but it is not entirely waterproof.

Which conditions is this jacket made for? With which products should I combine this winter jacket?
This thermal cycling jacket is made for winter and cold spring and autumn days. When you need this jacket, it will be cold enough that you will also need to wear winter gloves, thermal socks, overshoes, leg warmers and a thermal under-helmet cap.

Is this jacket suitable for riding with an e-bike, a city bike, a touring bike or for commuting?
We recommend this winter cycling jacket with a tight fit rather for road cycling, mountain biking and gravel riding. Its close fit and performance cut are not optimised for leisure cycling or commuting on a regular bike.

Die GripGrab ThermaShell Winddichte Rennrad Jacke Herren Winter ist sehr gut verarbeitet und weist optisch keine Mängel auf. Die Jacke verfügt über mehrere Taschen, eine davon mit Reißverschluss. (Kleine Taschen) Der Rücken ist etwas länger geschnitten so das man bedeckte Nieren hat. Der Kragen ist leicht erhöht und schützt den Halsbereich vor Fahrtwind. Das Material ist Elastisch und schränkt die Bewegung nicht ein. Sie hält Wind definitiv ab und hält auch warm. Mein Mann zieht Thermounterwäsche unter die Jacke, viel mehr passt da auch nicht drunter. Waschen kann man sie in der Maschine bei 30° (Waschetikett vorhanden) Auf Weichspüler verzichtet man bei diesem Material. Das Firmenlogo reflektiert das Licht und sorgt auch bei Dunkelheit dafür, dass man gesehen wird. Die Größe sollte mindestens 1 Nummer größer gewählt werden, besser vielleicht 2. Hier passt sonst nur ein sehr dünner Mensch in die Jacke. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist stimmig, andere Radsportbekleidung in dieser Qualität kostet mindestens genauso viel.

Gute Qualität - aber nicht jede Größe L ist gleich L - fällt sehr klein aus.

Getestet wird hier : ThermaShell Winddichte Winter Fahrradjacke von GripGrabDiese Fahrrad Jacke wird in einer Zipp Tütenverpackung geliefert.Eine Waschanweisung liegt nicht bei und ist auch nicht in der Verkaufsanzeige zu finden,nur der Hinweis : Maschinenwäsche.Die Jacke ist außen , aus einem 81% Polyester + 19% Elasthan Mischgewebe undInnen aus 84% Polyamid +16% Elasthan Mischgewebe hergestellt.Die Verarbeitung ist einwandfrei und ohne lose Fäden oder offene Nähte .Was gut gelöst ist, sind die an verschiedenen Stellen angebrachte Taschen welcheabgestimmt auf den Touren Fahrer sind und auch während der fahrt erreichbar sind(bitte StvO beachten).Die Reisverschlüsse sind Marken Produkte und auch leichtgängig und gut schliessend.Was aber leider nicht ganz passt ist die Konfektionsgröße .Ich trage bei Sportbekleidung wie T-Shirts - L und somit habe ich die Konfektionsgröße Lgewählt und lauf Label auch erhalten.Leider fehlen zum normalen Männer L hier ca. 5 cm Stoff.Die Ärmel wiederum sind für mich 180 cm Mann zu lang im ca. 8 cm .Nun stellt sich die Frage ob der Hersteller die in China hergestellte Jacke nach der chinesischen"L" Größe hergestellt hat ?Der Preis von 149,95 Euro zum Testzeitpunkt ist etwas ambitioniertFazit : Hier erhält man eine sehr gute Jacke welche leider in der Größe zu klein ausfällt

Die Radjacke ist ein kleines Materialwunder: Sehr dünn, aber trotzdem mit guter Isolations- und Wärmeleistung. Hält Wind zuverlässig draußen und kann auch ein paar Tropfen ab. Dafür ist sie sehr leicht, einfach zu verstauen und - am richtigen Radler - auch ein Hingucker. Die Taschen, eine davon mit Reißverschluss, sind super praktisch. Was die Größe angeht, so fällt sie etwas kleiner aus, man kann durchaus eine Größe größer nehmen. Mit 133 Euro allerdings schon eine Ansage, die man bei häufiger Nutzung aber auch nicht bereut.
