The Balaclava is a warm, soft, lightweight and insulating piece of headwear, that offers protection for the ears, neck and forehead and fits perfectly under a helmet.

Ideal for cycling, running and other activities in cold climates.

The Balaclava is made from comfortable fleece and microfleece and can be worn in several different ways, providing more or less coverage of the face, depending on the desired effect. This allows you to adjust the Balaclava on-the-go.

Is the Balaclava windproof?
No, this underhelmet Balaclava is not made of windproof fabric. It uses a soft and highly insulating microfleece that keeps your head nice and warm whilst ensuring high breathability.

Which temperature range is this balaclava suitable for and will it fit under my cycling helmet?
Our perception of temperatures is highly individual. We have designed this balaclava as a thin, yet highly insulating thermal layer to be comfortably worn underneath a cycling helmet around sub-zero conditions.

Is this balaclava also suitable as casual wear?
We do not recommend wearing this balaclava as casual wear, as its design and aesthetics are intended for use underneath a cycling helmet.

Reasonable value, and keep your head and neck warm in low temperatures. I've used them recently in 3 and 4 degrees c. They do the job. Not the cheapest on the market, but Grip Grab are a sound brand.

Bought this item to have a ride in the cold and rain as my sinuses were freezing during colder months, which caused health issues. This balaclava fits well, is very breathable, and can be pulled down so you will open your face without chocking yourself.Overall, very pleased with the purchase and will recommend buying it.
