The GripGrab Merino Blend Half Zip Thermal Long Sleeve Base Layer is the height of luxury winter layering. The unique two-layer fabric combines a merino wool outer with a viscose inner, to create a super soft, incredibly breathable and highly insulating base layer.

The two natural fabrics are known for their outstanding temperature regulation and wicking performance, so they will keep you comfortable even when you are working hard in the winter months.

The turtle neck collar provides extra warmth and protection, but when you do need to 'vent out' the half length zip makes it easy to encourage airflow through the layers.

Thumb holes are great for keeping the base layer in place when putting on your other layers.

Is this base layer windproof?
No, the Merino Blend base layer is not windproof. We recommend wearing a windproof jacket on top.

What temperature range do you recommend this base layer for?
This winter base layer is made for the coldest of days with low to medium riding intensity. Think of long winter base miles where you're looking for a cosy feeling to brave the elements. The soft fabric will hug your body and make those steady rides that bit more comfortable.

Can I also use it for other activities?
Whilst we primarily designed this base layer - like all of our base layers - with cycling in mind, you may also find it a great asset for winter hiking.
