The Arctic Waterproof Deep Winter Road Shoe Covers are some of the warmest shoe covers available on the market and ideal for very cold winter days. They are made from 4mm waterproof neoprene with a hollow fibre lining that offers maximum thermal insulation.

The Arctic incorporates the EUROBIKE Award winning technology; IntelliSeal™. An ingenious technology that greatly enhances the durability, fit and water resistance of shoe covers.

The Arctic shoe covers features the new zipperless shoe cover design, that gives a perfect and snug fit around the shoe and calf, so water is kept out from the top and preventing water from penetrating through a zip.

Q&A

Will they keep my feet warm?
Yes. The Arctic is one of the warmest shoe covers available and ideal for cold and sub-zero days. It is made from 4mm waterproof neoprene with a hollow fibre lining, offering maximum thermal insulation.

Are they difficult to put on?
This shoe cover features a zipperless design that gives a snug fit around the shoe and calf so water cannot penetrate through a zip. This makes them a bit different to put on compared to other shoe covers; we recommend watching our video to see how it's done. Don't worry, after the first couple of times, you'll be an expert. Please note that you put these shoe covers on before you put on your road bike shoes. Open the hook-and-loop closure strap on the sole, slide them on over your socks, put your shoes on and then pull the covers down over the shoes.

Can I use them with SPD shoes for MTB, gravel or other off-road riding?
No. This version of the Arctic is designed for use with road cycling shoes only. If you are looking for SPD-compatible shoes for MTB, gravel or other off-road styles, check out the Arctic X Waterproof Deep Winter MTB/CX Shoe Covers.

How do I get the optimal performance?
For optimal performance we recommend wearing the zipper-less cuff of the shoe cover next to your skin, with your water-resistant tights or leg warmers over the top. This improves the seal and reduces the water seeping in as it rolls down your leg. For enhanced protection you can add our CyclinGaiter as well. To avoid water ingress from below, we recommend taping over the holes and vents in the sole of your cycling shoes.

Can I also use these overshoes with winter cycling shoes?
The purpose of using winter cycling shoes is that you don't need to wear shoe covers. If you still want to do so, please choose at least one size larger to accommodate the bulk of winter boots.

Great fit and super warm. Appreciate no zippers to avoid potential malfunctions.

I did a gravel race this past weekend 40 miles into the race the front of the cover had lifted off the toe portion of the cycling shoe. While this did not inhibit my ride in any way and probably helped my feet stay cooler as temperatures rose one should make certain the front of the shoe cover is secure by slightly pulling the shoe cover over the front and slightly onto the underside of the cycling shoe. Very snug and takes some time to put on and off.

These are great at keeping the feet warm. The only thing I would do differently is get one with a zip. These can be a bit of a pain to get on and off.
