Q&A
When would you wear a windproof sock? On cooler days, like in the spring and autumn, windproof socks will stop the chilling air that gets into your shoes from reaching your feet. This protection from windchill, coupled with the insulating inner fleece fabric, offers enhanced comfort for your transition season rides. How are cycling socks different to everyday socks? To fit inside your cycling shoes, our windproof socks are made as thin as possible, while still providing insulation. How thick are these socks? Will I still fit in my cycling shoes? And can I wear them on my skin? Yes, you can wear them directly on your skin, as they feature a soft, brushed fabric on the inside. They are slightly thicker than summer socks, but should fit in your cycling shoes without issues. Are these socks also waterproof? No, they are windproof, but not waterproof. Are these socks also suitable for cycling in winter? As their name suggests, we have designed these socks for spring and autumn, when you want to ride without shoe covers on windy, but dry days. We do not recommend wearing them with windproof shoe covers.
