The RIDE Windproof Deep Winter Lobster Gloves are deep winter cycling gloves for those who want to ride outside, even when the temperature is below freezing.

Warmth does not come at the expense of dexterity and control of the bike when you are wearing these lobster style gloves. The optimised finger split gives a separation of the forefinger to allow for effective braking and shifting on both road and mountain bike levers.

The gloves feature high performance Thinsulate® insulation and have a comfortable soft fleece lining. An anti-odour treatment on the glove lining can help to keep the gloves fresher for longer; this means they won’t need such frequent washing, so they should last longer and have a lower environmental impact.

A high breathability rating of 15K (15,000 g/m²/24h) means your hands will remain comfortable even if you work up a sweat, while a PFC-free DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating on the outside will shrug off light rain and spray.

These gloves are made from 80% recycled material.

Designed in Denmark for Scandinavian winters – these are your solution for those sub-zero adventures.

Some winter gloves sacrifice control for bulky cold weather protection but here the low bulk palms ensure good contact with the handlebars, while a silicone print gripper in the palms and fingertips creates a secure hold on the handlebars.

Q&A

Will they keep my hands warm?
Yes. These are designed to keep your hands comfortable in cold and sub-zero conditions. They are highly insulated and feature windproof and water-resistant fabrics to shield you from the elements.

Are there finger dividers inside the glove?
Yes. There are internal dividers between the fingers to aid with grip and dexterity. They are soft and comfortable.

Will they keep my hands dry?
These gloves feature water resistant fabrics to protect your hands during light rain and showers. However, they do not have a waterproof membrane, so in heavy or sustained rain your hands will likely get wet. For waterproof winter gloves, check out the Polaris 2 Waterproof Winter Gloves.

For which temperatures are these gloves suitable?
We have designed these gloves for deep winter conditions around the freezing point. It is important to note that the gloves should not sit too tightly, hence we recommend choosing one size larger than in summer gloves.

Are these gloves touchscreen-compatible?
The tip of the thumb features a conductive fabric patch that allows you to operate your touchscreen bike computer or answer a phone call. It is not tactile enough for typing long messages.

Are these gloves windproof and waterproof?
As the name suggests, these gloves are indeed windproof. However, they are not waterproof, so we do not recommend using them in heavy rain.
