Faxe is a town located about 78 km south of Copenhagen and is home to a historic Danish brewery. Kondi is short for kondition, a Danish word that translates literally to “condition,” but is more commonly associated with physical fitness, stamina, and athletic performance.

The name FAXE KONDI therefore reflects the drink’s origins: a beverage from the town of Faxe, developed in collaboration with sports physiologists and doctors in the 1970s to provide athletes with an effective energy boost and help replenish fluids during exercise.

Fun fact: For many years, FAXE KONDI was sold and served in classic dark-green glass bottles - the same style traditionally used for beer in Denmark, giving the soft drink a distinctive, classic appearance.
