A LAYER FOR THE UNEXPECTED
Our R&D team set out to solve a specific rider need. Being prepared for sudden weather changes without committing to carrying a full rain jacket. The PACR Emergency Jacket was developed for those moments on the ride when conditions shift unexpectedly – a cold descent after a climb, a sudden shower, or a stop in exposed terrain.

PURE FUNCTION IN EVERY DETAIL
Developed with a focus on pure function, every detail serves a purpose. Waterproof fabric with fully taped seams delivers reliable protection against wind and rain, while a dependable 2-way zipper adds ventilation and easy access to jersey pockets. At the heart of the jacket is an ultralight 2.5-layer fabric that balances waterproof protection and breathability (10K/10K) while remaining highly packable and flexible. The printed inner layer helps manage moisture and prevents the fabric from sticking to the skin, keeping the rider comfortable even during high-effort riding.

120 GRAMS
Developing such a lightweight and packable jacket comes with its own challenges. When working with ultralight materials, there is very little margin for error. Construction, seam taping and material handling all need to be extremely precise to maintain reliable waterproof performance. At the same time, the jacket needed to remain durable enough for real riding conditions while keeping weight and pack size to a minimum. The result is a jacket that weighs just 120 grams, light enough to carry on every ride without hesitation.

These details ensure the jacket does exactly what it’s meant to do: provide reliable protection when it matters, and disappear when it doesn’t.
