WEAR TIPS
- These are true heavy duty winter cycling socks and are perfect for wearing underneath warmers, winter bib tights and trousers – to keep warm blood flowing right down your legs to your feet
- These socks are made from 54% merino wool. Merino wool is beautifully soft and insulating, and has a natural resistance to the build-up of odour causing bacteria; with this resistance in mind, you may not need to wash these socks after every ride – that would be better for the lifespan of the product and for the environment
...and remember – you are wearing high quality cycling essentials from GripGrab that are built to last. Take care of them and they will take care of you for many years to come - enjoy your ride!
GripGrab is a family business. Founded by brothers Kristian, Martin and Bjørn Krøyer in 2000. GripGrab is today run by CEO Martin Krøyer and CPO Kristian Krøyer.
GripGrab’s core philosophy is based on our experience as cyclists: creating products that protect against any conditions.
These products give riders the confidence to go further, push their limits and explore more.
Our mission is to create the products that enable all cyclists to explore and live out their individual cycling potential.
The most obvious development of these new winter socks is the exceptionally high cuff height – up from 16cm on the Merino Winter Socks to 21cm on these new Alpine socks. This extra extra coverage provides additional insulation for your lower legs; to keep warm blood flowing down your legs to your toes – for deep winter comfort.
In terms of composition, the new Alpine Merino Winter Socks uses 54% merino wool – a higher level than our other merino socks. Merino wool is luxuriously soft, breathable and insulating; whilst the interwoven synthetic fibres improve wicking performance and enhance durability.
These socks offer extra warmth and insulation for the coldest weather conditions and come in a range of stylish timeless colours.
