    A NORWEGIAN 3-DAY WINTER ADVENTURE

    At GripGrab we are riders ourselves, and we love to ride our bikes.
    Employees and directors represent a wide variety rider types from performance-oriented riders to everyday commuters.
    In our “WINTER BIKEPACKING” movie, three of our more adventurous employees set out to explore the Norwegian winter landscape.
    On the first day of their ride, leaving Oslo and heading for the mountains,
    they find themselves in a snowstorm that only gets stronger as darkness falls.

    “For my next ride in cold conditions, I would definitely bring a thermos.
    Being able to enjoy a hot drink in snowy conditions, is something  I would consider a real treat.    ”

    “I would bring a smaller camera!
    I like the Canon 1Dx as I know it will never fail, but it is a huge camera to bring on a bikepacking trip. With the excellent mirrorless cameras on the market, I would have loved bringing a Fuji X-pro 3 for example.    ”


    Tore

    “This being my first venture into bikepacking, I think I made one of the classic beginner mistakes – I brought way too much stuff! I had spare pants, spare shoes, way too many spares, and by shaving that off, I could have left my backpack at home, which was a bit of a pain to carry around. Frame bag and saddle bag is the way to go! ”
